values that preserve their originating definition).
isSameDefinition(...) uses this symbol to answer "do these values refer to
the same logical Runner definition?" rather than "are these the same object?".
StoreRegistry also uses this identity for canonical alias resolution, so do
not attach it to reusable definitions unless one lineage must map to exactly
one canonical registration.
